Norovirus Outbreak In UK Schools – Are you equipped to prevent the spread?

Over 60 UK schools are being gripped by Norovirus in the closing months of 2019 across the North East of England alone, with other reports in Scotland, Northern Ireland and other locations around England & Wales as reported by the BBC this week. (Source BBC News)

Norovirus, also referred to as the winter vomiting bug, has symptoms such as nausea, diarrhoea, vomiting, headaches, and high temperatures.

The virus is spread from having close contact with infected individuals.

This can include consuming food that has been prepared or handled by an afflicted individual, also touching surfaces or objects that they have had previous contact with.
