ReAct Funding Wales

If you have become unemployed in the last three months and live in Wales, Remote First Aid & Pre-Hospital Training Ltd, are able to offer a range of training courses to a maximum of £1500 under the ReAct Vocational Training Grants scheme and who are eligible under this scheme by:

  • becoming unemployed in the last 3 months as a result of redundancy, are currently unemployed, and who have not been in continuous employment for 6 weeks or more since being made redundant
  • being currently under notice of redundancy
  • having not undertaken any publicly funded training since being made redundant, including the work-based learning suite of programmes

How to apply for a training grant if you are eligible?

If you wish to apply for the ReAct Vocational Training grant, you first need to see an Adult Guidance Adviser at your local Careers Wales office. Contact them on 0800 028 4844 to make an appointment. You will need to discuss with the advisor which course or suite of courses to the total value allowed that you are seeking to undertake with us. All the above courses have assisted individuals back in to employment by developing their personal confidence and portfolio in readiness for interviews with potential new employers moving forward.

What is included in any grant funded training provided by us?

All training, assessments and learning support material’s. Learners without access to their own Laptop can be supplied one as part of the Grant funding scheme from us.

Limited subject to approval of overnight accommodation, such as that provided on the Levels 3 Initial Person on Scene or the Level 3 Award in Education & Training courses which is included in the published fees of £1000 per person. Overnight accommodation is provided on Bed & Breakfast basis only. Buffet lunch is provided on all our courses as standard. It is the learners own responsibility to purchase own evening meals where required.

This is where the individual person seeking grant funding can make their application. We can assist you in completing the relevant application forms once these are sent to you to ensure your application is successful. Once you have completed your agreed course we would then be paid direct by Careers Wales on course completion.
