Quality Standards: Primary care
Healthcare organisations have an obligation to provide a high-quality resuscitation service, and to ensure that staff are trained and updated regularly to a level of proficiency appropriate to their expected role. We can support Primary care settings which includes GP surgeries, out of hours and walk in centres to include all staff in that primary care organisation, including non-clinical staff, who should undergo regular training in resuscitation of both adults and children to the level appropriate to their role. Clinical staff within these Primary care settings are required to undergo annual updates. We deliver Immediate Life Support and Paediatric Life Support training for clinical staff, alongside Basic Life Support and AED training to the primary Healthcare provider’s non-clinical staff. This is in line with the current expected standards laid out by the Resuscitation Council.
Quality Standards: Primary dental care
Healthcare organisations offering Primary dental care have an obligation to provide a high-quality resuscitation service. Dental practitioners, dental care professionals and dental healthcare staff are required to attend training annually. We offer the dental practice setting both Immediate Life Support and if required Paediatric Immediate Life Support training meeting the General Dental Councils guidelines who supports the Resuscitation Councils quality standards.
