Critical Injury – Tourniquets & Haemostatic Agents Training
Workplace First Aid
A three-hour course for first aiders and first responders seeking to add vital skills in controlling severe & major bleeding. Tourniquets and Haemostatic Dressings if used correctly are now allowed to be used in first aid after the recommendations of the 2015 ERC first aid changes and the 2017 Tourniquet changes. Catastrophic bleeding is life-threatening and can kill in minutes so having a fast and effective method of stopping bleeding is a must have life skill in the workplace, out and about and at home. This training programme also introduces the student to the BSi Critical Injury Packs
