First Aid In Work Courses
A one-day Emergency first aid at work – low/medium risk environments is aimed at those that require emergency first aid at work knowledge. Typical learners include office staff, teaching assistants, shop workers and front of house staff.

All our first aid courses fully meet the UK and European Resuscitation Guidelines as per the HSE requirements (2015 are the latest guidelines). Remote First Aid only deliver qualifications recognised by the HSE as either via an Awarding Organisation or Trade Body.
This qualification specification outlines key information required by employers and learners to ensure they are able to make an informed decision in regards to the qualifications they are undertaking. It is recommended that those undertaking this training hold literacy and numeracy skills at Level 2 as a minimum. No previous first aid knowledge is required to attend.
Assessment & Certification
Learners are assessed by means of practical demonstrations alongside oral and written questioning throughout and a final multi-choice exam paper on the last session of the training.
Those successfully passing will be awarded a Emergency First Aid at Work – Low/Medium Risk Area’s certificate that is valid for 3-years.
The HSE strongly advise that all workplace first aiders undertake at least annually the recommended three-hour workplace first aider refresher course in between renewal courses to be able to demonstrate skills are maintained and that CPD has taken place.
At the three year point, emergency first aid at work certificate holders can renew the qualification course by attending the full course again. Successfully completing a emergency first aid at work course will enable the emergency first aider at work certificate holder to continue their first aid duties for their employer. Or they may consider enrolling on to a three-day first aid at work course that….
