First Aid Plus

Who is this qualification for?

Where an employers or organisations needs assessment indicates first aid provision, then those satisfactorily completing this training will be awarded the First Aid Plus certificate. The training complies with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 (First Aid Regulations 1981 & 1982). Sectors that use this qualification include; Outdoor activity centres, Community Volunteer Groups working outdoors, Schools and Colleges running off-site trips. Our trainers exceed the minimum criteria set the the HSE for training providers in respects to delivering workplace & paediatric first aid training. Our trainers also hold higher level qualifications in teaching & training along with higher levels of qualifications in providing emergency care above the workplace first aid requirements.

How long will it take?

Typically this training takes eight hours to complete excluding breaks. Employers may choose fully face to face or blended learning where whereby learners depart at lunchtime of their booked training day and complete their learning online via our training portal.

Assessment method

Learners are assessed by a oral questioning, practical demonstration and a final multiple-choice theory test. Final Outcome is Pass or Fail. Certification awarded is valid for 3 years.
