How long will it take?
The Health & Safety Executive recommends that all first aiders should attend at least 3-hours annual refresher training in years one & two of their certificate life. Many organisations book this training at 6-monthly intervals, to ensure their organisations first aiders are fully supported in their duties.
- Reviewing your sectors past 12 months trends
- The role and responsibilities of the first aider
- Basic Life Support, includes AED all ages
- Controlling serious and severe bleeding
- Any other additional areas an organisation chooses.
- Scenario based leaning
Those attending this training, will demonstrate that they maintain the key skills in life saving. Those attending will be issued with a verified Continual Professional Accredited Certificate of attendance, that they can add to their portfolio of evidence, inline with industry standards.
