Who is this qualification for?

The Forest School First Aid training course has been designed to meet the needs of those who are required to hold a relevant industry first aid qualification. The training aligns with the band 3 of the IOL guidance for those working within an education establishment who provides forest school learning. This qualification is suitable for Forest School Leaders, their Assistants and Practitioners.

How long will it take?

Learners should expect to attend 18 hours typically over two long days.

Topics covered

The training covers all key elements as described by the Institute or Outdoor Learning at Band 3 for Forest School Leaders.

Assessment method

Learners are assessed by means of practical demonstrations and completing two multiple-choice online theory exams. Certification is valid for 3-years.
