Remote First Aid & Pre-Hospital Training Ltd, are able to offer a range of training courses to a maximum of £1500 under the ReAct II Vocational Training Grants scheme to those individuals who are eligible under this scheme. We are also able to support Welsh Employer’s via the separate discretionary fund via REAct II that an employer can put towards the cost of the new recruit’s job-related training up to the £1000 maximum award fee.
- The Redundancy Action Scheme II (ReAct II) is a programme of funding for training provided by the Welsh Assembly Government for people living in Wales who are facing redundancy. The scheme can also help Employers who are downsizing their business or are recruiting staff.
- Individuals becoming unemployed in the last 3 months as a result of redundancy, are currently unemployed, and who have not been in continuous employment for 6 weeks or more since being made redundant may apply.
- Individuals being currently under notice of redundancy can apply
- Individuals must must not have not undertaken any publicly funded training since being made redundant, including the work-based learning suite of programmes
How to apply for a training grant if you are eligible?
If you wish to apply for the ReAct Vocational Training grant, you first need to see an Adult Guidance Adviser at your local Careers Wales office. Contact them on 0800 028 4844 to make an appointment. You will need to discuss with the advisor which course or suite of courses to the total value allowed that you are seeking to undertake with us. What is included in any grant funded training provided by us?
All training, assessments and learning support material’s. Learners without access to their own personal computer may apply to receive a loan funded device as part of their grant fee. This will be discussed with our advisors.
Limited subject to approval of overnight accommodation, such as that provided on the Levels 3 Initial Person on Scene, the Level 3 Award in Education & Training Award or the Moving & Handling Trainer the Trainers Emergency Services course which is included in the published fees of £1000 per person. Overnight accommodation is provided on Bed & Breakfast basis only. Buffet lunch is provided on all our courses as standard. It is the learners own responsibility to purchase own evening meals where required.

This is where the individual person seeking grant funding can make their application. We can assist you in completing the relevant application forms once these are sent to you to ensure your application is successful.
