Enhance your proficiency in the outdoors with Outdoor First Aid Training.
Our Outdoor First Aid Courses, ranging from one to four days will set you up with the knowledge and confidence to manage incidents ranging from a cut finger to a multiple casualty emergency in remote locations. We’ll deliver this first aid training in a friendly relaxed atmosphere whilst providing as much realism as possible. Our instructors have realtime experience working and playing out of doors, many coem from frontline emergency services including NHS Ambulance, Mountain Rescue, Fire & Rescue Services alongside multi-range outdoor instructor qualifcations. Our training courses are open to anyone aged 14 years +.
Participants on our outdoor first aid courses come from many backgrounds and occupations including Forest School leaders, teachers, outdoor instructors, youth leaders, parents, students, office workers, people working in remote and foreign locations, tradespeople etc.
There is a small element of pre-course reading prior to the course to enable you to spend more time in outdoor scenarios during the training.
These courses covers +F topics required by forestry workers –
- Severe bleeding (i.e. chainsaw injury)
- Crush injury
- Hypothermia
- Recognition of Lyme Disease & Weil’s Disease
- Working remotely
