Who is this qualification for?

A Full Paediatric First Aid course for those working within the Early Years Framework Stages (EYFS).

How long will it take?

Delegates will undertake a minimum of 12 hours of face to face learning excluding breaks to meet the EYFS requirements.


Delegates are taught the role and responsibilities of the paediatric first-aider, providing first aid for an infant or a child who is unresponsive, recognition and treatments for sudden illness or injury and how to summon the Emergency Medical Services.

Assessment method

This qualification is assessed by a practical demonstration and a multiple-choice theory test.
