BLS with AED Training – Primary Care Settings
Who is this qualification for?
This training fulfils the United Kingdom Resuscitation Councils Guidelines, in whereby all non-clinical practice staff within a Primary Care setting, can recognise cardiorespiratory arrest in both adults and children. Those staff attending this training in Basic Life Support with Automated External Defibrillation, will be able to recognise and respond to both adults and children cardiorespiratory arrest.
How long will it take?
Three hours annually.
Standards & subjects covered
Delegates will trained to recognise cardiorespiratory arrest in adults and children, be able to summon help and start using Chest Compressions. Where a settings local protocols indicates, use the settings own Automated External Defibrillator.
Delegates are assessed by means of practical demonstrations, oral questioning and short online exam.
