It meets the Health & Safety Executive (First Aid) Regulations 1981, and it helps employers stay compliant with essential first aid requirements. Because the course is designed for low‑risk and medium‑risk environments, it gives employers a reliable and straightforward way to meet their legal first aid obligations.
Throughout this practical one‑day course, learners build the core skills needed to manage an emergency before professional help arrives. They move through key modules such as assessing an incident, delivering CPR, using an AED, managing choking, controlling bleeding, and treating minor injuries. Additionally, the Emergency First Aid at Work syllabus highlights workplace‑specific risks, which helps organisations strengthen safety standards and create more resilient teams.
