Basic Life Support – Primary Care Settings
Training for Primary Healthcare settings to meet their clinical, legal, and regulatory obligations in line with Resuscitation Council UK Quality Standards.
Remote First Aid delivers BLS training that fully meets the standards outlined in the Resuscitation Council UK Guidelines for Primary Care settings. Our programme also aligns with CQC & HIW expectations, ensuring that staff (including non-clinical) have the knowledge, skills, and confidence to use essential emergency equipment safely and effectively within these settings.
WHAT
The training delivered by Remote First Aid covers all core elements of the Resuscitation Council UK Quality Standards for Primary Care. It meets the required expectations for clinical staff to complete their annual Basic Life Support (BLS) updates and is equally suitable for non‑clinical staff working within Primary Care settings.
WHO
- Clinical staff in Primary Care Including GPs, nurses, ANPs, HCAs, paramedics, Dentists, Dental Nurses, Dental Technicians and anyone who requires an annual BLS update in line with Resuscitation Council UK Quality Standards.
- Non‑clinical staff working in Primary Care settings Such as receptionists, administrators, practice managers, and support staff who may be required to respond to emergencies as part of their role.
- Any Primary Care team seeking compliance Ideal for practices wanting to ensure their whole workforce meets CQC & CIW expectations and Resuscitation Council UK guidance for emergency preparedness.
WHERE
This training takes place either at your Primary Care practice (on‑site delivery across England and Wales and the surrounding regions) or at one of our scheduled classroom venues, depending on what suits your team best.
COST
- Primary Care Practices (On‑site, up to 12 staff): £599 + VAT per group (based on a 1:8 trainer‑to‑learner ratio).
- Individual Bookings (Chepstow Training Centre): £90 + VAT per person.
