Remote First Aid delivers fully accredited first aid training courses designed to meet the needs of learners who require a licence to practise and organisations seeking to comply with the First Aid Regulations. Our programmes support individuals, employers, and HR managers by providing clear, reliable pathways to competence, confidence, and regulatory compliance.
Certificates
Our environmentally responsible certification process ensures that all first aid certificates are issued digitally, with both a secure link and a downloadable PDF available upon completion. These eCertificates are fully valid, recognised by all UK governing bodies, awarding organisations, and accreditation centres. Each certificate includes a unique QR code, allowing employers, inspectors, and regulators to instantly verify authenticity through our awarding partners’ websites.
All first aid certificates issued are valid for three years and meet the First Aid Regulations in Great Britain and Northern Ireland. They also fulfil DfE, Ofsted, and Welsh Government requirements for childcare and education settings, ensuring full compliance for nurseries, schools, and early years providers.
Essential info
Clothing Requirements
Learners should wear comfortable, practical clothing suitable for movement during assessments. Loose‑fitting trousers, leggings, or jeans are ideal. We advise avoiding skirts or short clothing, as several assessments involve kneeling, bending, and floor‑based activities.
Photo Identification
Please bring a valid photo ID. Trainers are required to check ID for certification and regulatory compliance.
Blended Learning
For courses delivered through a blended model, online learning must be completed before attending the face‑to‑face training day. This is a regulatory requirement. Learners who do not complete their online modules in advance may be unable to participate and may need to rebook the course and pay again.
The HSE states that employers must comply with Regulation 13 of the Health and Safety Management Regulations 1999, ensuring employees have adequate time during the working day to complete all first aid training, including online components.
Fit for Training
As work‑based training, learners are assessed across all required competencies. The CPR/AED and Recovery Position assessments involve kneeling on the floor beside a casualty. Learners must be physically able to complete these tasks, as they are mandatory for certification and cannot be adapted.
Theory-Based Final Online Assessment
After completing the practical training, learners must sit a final theory assessment under test conditions using their mobile device. Results are issued as Pass or Fail. Learners are responsible for ensuring their device is Wi‑Fi enabled and fully charged.
Refreshments
We recommend bringing lunch and refreshments, as facilities to purchase food or drinks may not be available at the venue.
Parking
If travelling by car, please check parking arrangements with the venue in advance.
Timings
Learners must arrive at least 15 minutes before the course start time. Late arrival may result in being turned away and needing to rebook the course at full cost.
