    ReAct Plus Funding Programmes

Remote First Aid Offer those eligible for the ReAct + funding a wide range of training options that will support pathways in to work. To check your eligibility please visit  ReAct Plus | Working Wales or book an appointment with a careers advisor at Book an appointment

The following training courses can be attended once your funding has been agreed and ReACT + administrators have advised your funding is in place.

Level 3 Qualification in Lowland Walk Leadership (RQF) One week course

Level 3 Qualification in Lowland Expedition Leadership (RQF) Seven-day course

Level 3 Qualification First aid at work qualifying three-days (RQF)

Level 3 Qualification Delivering Training (RQF) Two-day course.

Level 3 Qualification Emergency Care First Responder (RQF) Five-day course, Accepted by the Security Industry Authority for Security Guards and Protection Officers.

Level 3 Qualification First Responder on Scene (RQF) Four-day course, recognised by NHS Ambulance & St John Services.

All the above courses come with the addition of qualifying UCAS points to strengthen any application for university applications in the 2026 cohort. Each comes with 8 UCAS points.

    Example

Recent learners include those looking at moving into outdoor education & training, who combined the Level 3 Expedition Leadership, alongside the Level 3 First aid at work course plus the Level 3 Delivering training course. They joined us at our Outdoor training centre in Chepstow as a residential student camping at our training centre. This course was run as two four-day blocks Monday to Thursday and returning the following Monday.

This allowed the learners to apply for their £1500 training grant plus £200 accommodation fees, in this case utilising our camping site and equipment as payment to use.

The above is just an example and those looking to apply, are encouraged to contact us to discuss needs prior to making an appointment with their ReAct Plus Advisor.
