Designed for learners who have completed the Emergency Care First Responder – Level 3 Award (RQF) or an equivalent qualification. This refresher reinforces critical emergency care knowledge, updates you on recent protocol changes, and supports ongoing workplace compliance. It’s the ideal way to maintain your assessed standards, keep pace with evolving best practice. This ensures you’re ready to respond effectively in any first aid incident. Resuscitation UK, ERC & HSE Guidelines. Ideal for this that have completed the Emergency Care First Responder – L3 Award (RQF) – Remote First Aid or similar.
WHAT
Refresh and update your current first responder skills with our blended learning package. Refresh and test your knowledge while completing the 7 hours online refrshing followed by completing 5 practical skills stations covering the ABCDE approach. Skills include ILS, Major Trauma, Hypotherima, Compromised airways that includes drowning, allergic reation, burns etc.
WHO
This course is suitable for any First Responder award at Level 3 or 4. This training also supports organisations that have staff working as first responders in a primary role, such as Fire & Rescue, Police Specialist Teams, Lowland Rescue, and Coastguard.
WHERE
This First Responder Annual Refresher training day takes place at our training facility in Chepstow, utilising the local area for a fully immersive scenario-based day.
If an organisation wishes, Remote First Aid may deliver this training at your suitable location on request.
