Yes Remote First Aid, provides course materials when embarking on First Aid Trainer & Instructor Award (FATI), post course annual trainer refresher days with observations, ensures the regulatory need for quality assurence is met and maintained. Yes new trainers can provide their FATI certifcate which is recognised by all Awarding Organistaion and Trade Bodies in the UK.

To deliver Outdoor & Sports Activity First Aid (8, 12, 16 hour courses) the first aid trainer must evidence hodling at least one Outdoor Sports Governing Body leadership/coaching award.
If a trainer wishes to deliver higher level skills content such as the Emergency Care First Responder – L3 Award (RQF) – Remote First Aid course, they would need to complete this course first to gain approval. By completing this training they could also request approval to deliver the Immedate Life Support – Remote First Aid and the Major Incident Trauma Training package to their clients.

Operational fees include certification, regulatory needs checks and CPD events. These will vary on your specific needs. Typically if utalising Remote first Aid’s certifcation route the average fee is between £10 to £20 per delegate being awarded. There are no annual fees and no annual observation fees if you remain with Remote First Aid. If you choose to join another provider, you would need to check their fees and if you decide to join a Awarding Organisation or Trade Body, the fees range between £300 – £1000 per annum as a centre in your own right.

HSE Equipment Requirements (Per Four Learners)
To support safe, effective and legally aligned first aid instruction, trainers must provide:
- 1 CPR manikin per 4 learners
- 1 training AED per 4 learners
- Suitable and sufficient classroom PPE, including manikin wipes, CPR face shields/barriers and first aid gloves
- Appropriate first aid training aids, such as dressings and bandages, matched to the content of the course being delivered
- One current up-to-date first aid manaul per each learner
- Suitable and sufficent teaching aids, such as Audio & Visual materials inline with the training being provided. Remote First Aid supplies apporved trainers access to current up to date learning materials.
These ratios apply up to a maximum of 12 learners per trainer, ensuring consistency, safety and quality across all first aid courses.
DfE & WG Requirements for Paediatric First Aid Training
